The fat Spanish waiter would personally be my choice as McClaren in my view was a poor choice to start with as failure follows him around as basically when it comes down to it he is utterly clueless.

He won't put up with the type of restrictions Ashley will insist on, Moyes has and will however
Great article on pundits and how they steal a living

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
It's said Moyes will come on the condition he has final say on transfers, something Newcastle fans have begged for now for a while. What more does Benitez want? I have nothing against the guy but I think Moyes is the right man for Newcastle. He'll have more money in 2 seasons than he had over his entire span at Everton on top of being the man that brought some form of stability and consistency to a club he couldn't spend anything at.
Rafa could do better than Newcastle but I don't think he could make much difference anyway.
Done anyway, Newcastle enter crisis talks with McClaren. Expected to be sacked, announcement tomorrow.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
I think the Spurs v Arsenal derby was a great game, yes, there was the red card. But most derbies end in a draw.
Sad thing was the violence at the game. Reminds me of the old days at Tottenham.
I don't think there is anything to stop Leicester. Spurs will finish second Manchester City Third, with Arsenal Third.
Arsenal have to sack Wenger. He is a loser, always whinging at Officials. He should have played Giroud, and Walcott from the start.
Then l think we would have a different game.
And that's coming from an Ardent Tottenham fan.
I just want to rub the salt in the wounds of Gunner fans. We will finish TOP London side.

Its been reported that Poch, is in demand from Chelsea and Mancherster United. Snd been given the accolade by a footballer, of being a great Manager.
Not only has Poch, been named Manager of the Year. He has been approached to be the new Manager of both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Spurs would be totally mental if they allowed him to go. He can do the same job at Spurs, where there is great morale - and that means titles coming up.
Les Ferdinand, said that he would play for Poch, as he is a GREAT manager.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Newcastle hold another crisis board meeting today minus McClaren whom is a board member for whatever reason. Unverified but likely legit, Lee Charnley and Bob Moncur both board members were awaiting the arrival of someone at Central station earlier. One side thinks McClaren will be on for Leicester, the other thinks David Moyes arrived at Newcastle for talks.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Newcastle approach Benitez. Unsure whether Newcastle spend yesterday talking with Moyes or whether Benitez was the first choice. Still time for them to do nothing of course but this seems to have all but sealed McClarens fate.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
McClaren conference cancelled as talks with Benitez continue. Bit heartless letting a man hang on like this.

What else can you expect from a club which runs things like a club still in the amateur league.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
It could be as suggested that McClaren has already been told he's been sacked but Newcastle won't move until Benitez has officially signed. It's suggested he expects complete control over the transfer dealings at the club along with £70 million to spend (which was guaranteed anyway for any manager)
The stall appears to be on his contract length with other suggestions saying he want's to first sign an interim deal that would then see him get an new contract with the above transfer dealings penned in should Newcastle survive, but then also insuring himself against Newcastle going down by having the ability to walk away.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Don't blame him, Ashley doesn't seem to be interested in the club anymore. I get the impression he only bought the club to make himself look good to the fans, which has backfired now because he hasn't invested in the club with decent signings. But I think they'd be better off with McLaren still, Rafa is not the manager to keep them up.

Newcastle spent more than anyone, in fact they spent more than all the club's in Germany put together, whatever divisions at the club aren't caused by money.
