that was good and hit the right tone. Hopefully they will keep doing little things like that because with all the delays they have had they need to keep the audience enthused and engaged.

I liked the original concept of the ship. The newer design isn't as edgy in my opinion.
It looks a lot like other types of starfleet ship, such as the Akira.

Well out there in the LaLa Land opinion is divided. It's either the Discovery or the USS Shenzou.
Apparently the crew for this USS Shenzou has been announced and Michelle Yeoh is the captain.
Speculation is that the USS Shenzou will meet it's demise and transfer to the Discovery.
All pure fanboy speculation

As there is always more than the main ship, I wouldn't think they would totally redesign the ship either.
