Rodgers and that committee have spent £300 million and I'm not showing bias but what do they actually have to show for it? Benteke Sturridge?
That Sturridge season was 50% him and 50% Suarez making him.

Benteke is a Klopp type player, said it when he signed, it confirmed more than anything to me that Rogers days were numbered and it would only be a matter of when Klopp wanted to take the job rather than Rogers doing anything to save his job. One of the worst committee blunders was manquillo on loan for two years at gawd knows how many million per season, that's not even mentioning Lambert, Balotelli, Aspas etc etc etc. No one wastes money quite like Liverpool.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
I have a nasty feeling he'll turn out to be the best manager Liverpool will have had in years, maybe even making them title contenders. Not winners, just contenders so on one or two occasions they'll be at the top of the league for a week or two then slipping back down Arsenal-style when it matters most.
The media will love him though, he's already given them the ready-made headline of "Klopp the Flop" when he's under pressure and Liverpool lose to some tin-pot bottom-of-the-league side.

If he doesn't sort the committee out he'll be doing it with one hand tied behind his back

That was apparently one of the sticking points before signing his contract. In interviews he's now saying that he has the final word on any transfers so it must have been worked out.

Klopp will have the first word and the last word and he is fine with that.

Why don't certain Engalnd players pass the ball near to the goal to another who is in a scoring position, then hooves it nowhere.
Thats why we don't get goals too many selfish players.

Thank goodness Stevenage are back level. Last I saw it was 2-0 Exeter. Teddy is making excuses. I think it is time someone lit a firework or 2 under the backsides of the players.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
The problem with Stevenage Mark is they lack a proper goalscoring threat despite all their pretty work.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Luckily we got a draw. Injury time goal. Not good enough though. Time for the chairman to provide money to buy players instead of relying on youth prospects.

The trouble is Mark is apart from one or two clubs at this level most other clubs are struggling to make ends meet.

I'm one of those who expect unrealistic things. Always been a fault. Hopefully, this can be the kickstart needed to get the season in full flow.

Re: Football Season 2015/2016
Krul out for the season after Netherlands injury.
Rob Elliot and Freddie Woodman left. Karl Darlow also injured. No chance of an Emergency Loan unless both are ruled out. Shame, I heard Victor Valdes is bored.
