I think if it had not moved after all her attempts to get it to move, horn etc I would have been tempted to strike it again.

Hmm! If a fox won't move after it's been honked at and it won't move for the car in the first place I'd say that it's become too attuned to humans.
On the other hand I don't think I'd have approached the animal just in case it was crazy with Rabies..
