I cannot see anything but it would make sense getting it all wrapped up now. Allowing it to drag out until the summer coudl leave Tottenham empty handed.

I doubt it. I would have said money would play the deciding factor but hes reportedly turned down a nice deal at Man City so favorable club seems the obvious one.
