I think it might be or to prevent one. It's very rare for Wenger to make a HT sub otherwise. Arseblog saying Ozil was rubbing and holding his thigh...

As thenry says it's Ozil's first season. Look back at all the flack Giroud and Koscileny got in their first reasons.

Personally l don't think he can cope with the physicality of the English game.

Den Ozil has proved he a quality player for Real Madrid and Germany remember premier league is the fastest hardest league remember players like Bergkamp who was poor first season then proved how good he was

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
It's really not that uncommon for players to struggle in their first season. It's also worth remembering Ozil was good at the start of the seasons. No need to jump to conclusions after one bad patch.

No l am just stating that the English game is hard to cope with and many have failed to adapt to its rigours and Ozil so far has not convinced me.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Ozil is use to a winter break. He hasn't had that this season. Plus he didnt have a pre season. Plus its his first season in a new league. YET his quality has been on stage for all to see. Granted it hasn't been consistent or anywhere near his peak the fact is his quality has come through which is better than nothing.
