Re: World Cup 2014
As we all know Wales did not qualify for the WC and never really stood a chance.
Now that's out of the way am I allowed to make fun of England's flatulent attempt at qualifying for the next round?

Re: World Cup 2014
The only thing I'm disappointed about really is the lack of pundits, ex-players, current players etc going on tv and saying "I genuinely believe we have a chance of winning it this year" like they normally do every 4 years

Right on cue, they're already talking about the next England manager http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co...ail/story.html

Re: World Cup 2014
If you watch South American league football on a regular basis the first thing you realise is that, while not always pretty to watch it's very much a team game based on hard work, determination and not one for individuals on the big wedge trying to make a name for themselves.
Not surprising that Costa Rica and Chile inparticular are getting good results.

Re: World Cup 2014
France might have scored two quick goals but that has to be the worst attempt at a goal celebration so far.

Re: World Cup 2014
Seeing Djourou and Senderos together as a centre back partnership must bring back good memories for Arsenal fans...
