Our Sainsbury's was heaving, massive queue to get in and out. Fortunately I was on foot.

Don't forget those shoppers having a family reunions in the middle of the aisles and the lardy chicanes waddling about. Then there's the old'uns that forgot their glasses and stand a mile from the shelf to see what they want.
Then there's Mrs Twiddle purse who insists on paying the exact amount in loads of small coins.

I explained that I was told I wouldn't remember anything about it but I remember the whole horrid experience.
I told her that in my opinion the full thing was a complete farce due to many factors with the first one being - in the procedure room it became apparent that I had not even signed a consent form and once this was noted I was expected to sign without even reading it as I never had my specs on, when I drew their attention to the fact that I could not read what I was signing they just said a consent form for sedation, the patients affair manager did say that this should not have happened the consent form should have been signed before entering the procedure room.
I did say that imo I should have either been offered more sedation or giving some time to calm myself down therefore being more relaxed and for them to try again.
The way I'm feeling at the moment hell will freeze over before I go for that procedure again, although hubby wants me to go again. I have made a appointment with my GP in January to discuss peanuts and Jo's advice about getting some pre-med and if not I'm afraid I will not be back for upper GI scope ever again.

Then those who park their trolley in front of the self and blcok it off, then those trolleys with fragile stuff at the bottom and spuds and beer on top.
Don't get me started on the mobililty scooter, that I would personally ban form inside every shop.

So sorry to hear this weenie, you're right to be upset and complain but try not to let it ruin your Christmas. Hopefully you'll get a satisfactory result and possibly be able to have more sedation next time if you don't want to ignore the condition. Be strong and good luck getting it sorted.

My moan from our hugely over-expensive PFI funded hospital - modern oblong sinks in the toilets which are so narrow that it's impossible to get your hands fully under the taps/running water. Did anyone involved in the purchasing process actually try them out I wonder?...

I hope the SOB who managed to pass their obnoxious and fast accelerating head cold onto me some time in the last 24 hours gets a burnt Christmas dinner. After the last 6 months that I've had it's the last thing I needed today.

Mandatorary adverts in the begining of a Blu-Ray film, and you cannot by-pass them.
So sit through 10 mins of trailers.

You could always go out and do a cup of tea or perhaps have a wee dram of whisky during the trailers Hom3r.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
We had a bit of snow (which froze solid on my dad's car this.morning)
I took my niece up to Stansted as her girlfried was arriving from Glasgow, but she was stuck on the plane for nearly an hour, as it was to icey to de plane.
I was clock watching as the car park has 1 hour free upto 2 hours £1, then jumps to £23 :O
Luckily she got off.
Why did it take so poxy long.
I won't even go there as regard to the rip off parking fee's. I mean to drop off and collect from the front of the terminal building costs £3.60 for 10 minutes, after that it leaps to £50, pray you don't get caught in a exit queue.
There is a special scheme for a discount if you live within 10 miles, I'm just over that so don't qualify.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
The airport is a 30 min drive from my front door.
Usually we park in the mid stay car park go to the terminal then back to the car park within a hour, which will be free.
The short stay £3.60 for 1 hour.
Had we known she was going to be late we would have left later.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
An old skiing injury to my knee has flared up over the last two days. I can barely bend my leg and it's really painful to get up from sitting. Climbing the stairs is dot and carry one. I'm reluctant to take pain killers but last night I surrendered to a couple of ibuprofen to get to sleep.
It takes several days to settle down. I think these sort of injuries you never fully recover from.

Thanks nash. So do I, it hurts bigtime. I suppose the only good thing is it distracts from the small ache in my shoulder that comes and goes courtesy of a frozen shoulder injury a couple of years ago.
