I think his ambition was to undo as much of Gary Speed's good work as possible. My biggest worry is that he may feel he hasn't quite completed the task yet.

Cough... Northern Ireland smallest country to qualify for more than one World Cup finals, the smallest country to win a World Cup finals match, the smallest country to have scored at a World Cup finals, and the smallest country to have reached the World Cup quarter-finals.
Trinidad and Tobago - smallest country to qualify for the World Cup finals. Sure they didn't score a single goal but if you had offered them the chance to play in the World Cup finals or play in a tournament with smaller teams do you really think they would have chosen the latter?
