Ditto
I was barely convinced that ESPn was worth it..but was greedy for all the premiership channels, so suspect I won't be getting it

Looks like they've over estimated what people will pay. Remember Setanta Sports had 46 Premiership games, 60 SPL matches, all away international fixtures for the home nations, top level boxing, UFC etc.... all for only £9.99 per month. Oh and they had a dedicated golf channel, Rangers TV, Cetic Tv and so on. Setanta had more channels and better content. BT need to pull their head out of their anus.

Remember once they decide what the price is the die is totally cast and they will live or die on the decisions they make in these coming weeks or months

Very true. It's all speculation just now but I don't the prices being suggested add value. Offering the channel free to SKY customers taking BT broadband however is an interesting concept.

Re: BT Group buys ESPN Channels
Well I just got an email from Sky telling me that my subscription to ESPN ends 31/7/13. So now just have to wait and see if its going to be available in some form on Sky after that and how much they think they can rip me off for it.

Re: BT Group buys ESPN Channels
Yep same here , O well that's £10 a month saved as I won't be paying for BT Sports if it costs more than ESPN currently does.

Looks like you will have to apply directly to BT. They will then update your viewing cards.

Indeed and the omens in my humble opinion don't bode well for BT Sports.

Not had my email yet but will also not pay more than I am curently paying for ESPN. BT seem to be scoring a massive own goal(no pun intended). They seem to be taking it for granted that we will simply stump up regardless the cost.
