Indeed, I've also been watching the new Blade series, a new Sci-Fi called Eureka and Season 3 of the 4400.

Atlantis season 3 episode 2 is now available
I think Eureka starts on Sky in August.
What's the Blade series like?

Yes, for some reason they have given it a longer title though.

Enjoying Blade so far, it's quite similar to the later films.
Also watched the early pilot for another series called Heroes - about a group of people all across the world who suddenly develop extraordinary powers. This wasn't too bad and has potential, it was a bit slow in parts though.

I wouldn't mind getting back into SG1. Loved it when I used to watch it. Not seen it since season 5 though.

Does the Blade series ignore the end of the last movie then, seeing as there should be no more vampires after the events of Trinity?
Wouldn't mind watching it. Although I doubt anyone could do a better Blade than Snipes.
Heroes - heard a bit about that. Some people are calling it "the new Lost" apparently.

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
I watched the Pilot of Eureka, and must say I really enjoyed it. Definately one to watch
I don't know if blade follows the movies at all. Maybe it follows the comic more?
SG-1 and Atlantis have been the best series yet

I didn't realise all vampires were wiped out, if so, then it's safe to say it ignores that. The actor is a very good Blade, tho possible not as good as Snipes.

Yes, I enjoyed Eureka, funny in places but serious as well. Have to agree on SG-1 and Atlantis as well (so far ....).

Well, the events of Trinity suggest there shouldn't be any vampires left afterwards, although perhaps it took some time.
I had a look at the wikipedia entry for the Blade series, it says it's "nominally" a continuation of the movies. I guess it's a similar thing to the Highlander movies & TV series.
The Blade series has been created by the guy (David Goyer) who wrote all three Blade movies (& directed no.3), so should be a good portrayal of Blade.
Anyway. I love the Blade movies, so I think I'll have a look for the series

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets
I see NBC are making another series of the classic 80's series V, apparently several of the original cast have signed up for it and it should be finished next year. I just hope it lives up to the original as I loved this show.

But take a look at the date
If it materialises then it could be good - but I wouldn't get you're hopes up. If I recall correctly it was due around the same time as the new blakes 7 series (which totally failed to take off)
edit - and from imdb
