Love this bit
FIFA chief goon Sepp Blatter said that snoods are “dangerous – it can be like to hang somebody.”

I hope the football teams go away, redesign a top that has an intergrated collar and then let player wear it as this rule is pathetic

No it's not pathetic Kymmy, there is good reason to ban it .It's bad enough players being dragged about by their shirts now think how much more dangerous it would be if players were dragged back by a snood ,it is a law suit waiting to happen or a serious injury waiting to happen and as for the keeping warm argument that is just plain ridiculous .A fit player will keep plenty warm on the pitch running around .If that was ever a problem then the players would all be wearing coats and long johns .

Re: Players To Be Banned From Wearing Snoods
Surely dragging anyone round by their clothing should be stopped.. So what do you suggest - next we ban shirts, shorts, socks, boots..etc...
You can't blame the clothing for players actions

It's called cheating Kymmy it is illegal because football is a non contact sport(supposed to be) but the fact it is illegal doesn't stop it happening .But i see what you are saying ,if the players didn't feel the need to cheat by dragging other players around by their shirts then this wouldn't be an issue ,but they do so it is ,the little fairies only have themselves to blame ,if they stop cheating then their necks would nice and toasty

Despite the attempts to make it non contact, Football is still a contact sport.
Never seen the attraction of snoods.

Have to agree with this 100% Not only do they look like pansies but with the stupid amounts of shirt-pulling that goes on in this game is stupid and if they continue to wear these Snoods... well surely everyone can see Carlos Tevez being dangled from the crossbar.
This game is full of clowns now and its a shame really. £250,000 a week players its not 'our' game anymore. Stoke City are about the closest thing to a football team in the Premierleague.
What happened to this game from 2000-2011

Oh please. Stoke are the closest thing to a football team in the Premier League? Why? Last time I checked there were 20 football teams in the Premier League, a lot of whom play quite successful football.
'Pansies'? This isn't the 80's. Footballers should be footballers and not worry about such ignorance.

I think it all started to go downhill when they stopped using Pig's bladders for balls.

I can't be bothered seriously arguing such a silly post, but i do find the highlighted part particularly funny coming from a pro wrestling fan.
And before you consider attacking me for that....................................YOU CAN'T SEE ME!
