My Tent Or Yours enhanced his Champion Hurdle claims with an impressive victory in the StanJames.com Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle.

The Nicky Henderson-trained six-year-old was promoted to 7-2 favourite by the sponsors for the Cheltenham championship event in March after his three-length victory over John Quinn's grand mare Cockney Sparrow, with another two and a half lengths back to the returning Grumeti.

Henderson and champion jockey Tony McCoy had not enjoyed the best of luck in this race in the past, with Binocular sent off a short-priced favourite three years in a row but failing to win the Grade One.

Mouse Morris's star chaser was placed on multiple occasions at Grade One level last season and enjoyed his day in the sun in the Betfred Bowl at Aintree in April.

The Tullow Tank repaid the faith of his connections by claiming victory in a thrilling Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse.

The Philip Fenton-trained five-year-old looked the part when winning a maiden hurdle at Naas in early November and owner Barry Connell was happy to supplement him for this Grade One contest.

A winner at Compiegne in France in early May, the Gigginstown House Stud-owned filly bolted up on her debut for champion trainer Willie Mullins at Punchestown a fortnight ago and was a 30-100 favourite for this Grade Three assignment.

Trainer Nicky Henderson said Sprinter Sacre is "not a certain participant" in the BetVictor Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on Saturday.

The brilliant seven-year-old is the hot favourite to stretch his unbeaten record over fences to 11 races, but has returned "unsatisfactory figures" from a tracheal wash which was taken on Monday morning.

Willie Mullins' Sir Des Champs has yet to run yet this campaign but he did win at Punchestown after Cheltenham, beating Long Run by three-quarters of a length.

Boston Bob is likely to be aimed at the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at Cheltenham in March after suffering a setback earlier in the year.

A Grade One-winning novice chaser last term, he was in the lead when falling at the last in the RSA Chase and subsequently also fell at the Punchestown Festival.

With that at the back of his mind and after meeting with a setback, Mullins and owner Graham Wylie are keen to go down the hurdling route for the time being.

"He's had a setback and I'm hoping he'll be ready by Christmas," said Mullins.

Flemenstar and Sir Des Champs, first and second in the John Durkan Memorial Chase 12 months ago, could meet again in this year's renewal at Punchestown on Sunday after both featured among 10 remaining entries.

Now with Tony Martin, Flemenstar won at Navan last month but did not impress everybody with his performance, jumping high at many of his fences.
