Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Just watched that altidore goal on my phone still sat at Villa Park. Sunderland were robbed. If it's not a goal it's a sending off? Some bogus decisions up and down the country today. It's typical of a league that's just introduced goal line technology to have no debatable over the line situations for the entire season now but rather have an entire season of crazy refereeing.

Cazorla out for around a month
Ramsey has scored more goals than the entire Tottenham squad

Wonder who will die tonight then. Ramsey seems to curse people when he scores goals.

That game proved the changes at RM need time to settle. Villarreal exploited it somewhat. do you believe the yellow submarines got relegated then promoted.. crazy stuff good to see the outfit back in the top tier.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
203 games 203 goals, sensational. Messi and Ronaldo are by far the two greatest footballing phenom's ever seen. Pele can rant about his fake goals tally he scored on FIFA or in the park all he wants, he's no match for these two.
You take all your greatest players of all time and put them into two players and this is what you get. What I'd give to see Ronaldo back in England and I'm not even a united fan. It's a shame it's unlikely either of them will be world cup winners.

Ive just seen this...

Arsenal are not joking about their intent to pursue Rooney or Liverpool striker Luis Suarez in the January window. Manager Arsene Wenger still has £40m to spend and the arrival of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid has *transformed the Gunners’ status in the transfer *market. Sources in Madrid believe Sami Khedira, the Real and Germany midfield *anchorman, would like to follow Ozil to the *Emirates *Stadium. Wenger won’t have the funds to sign a striker and a midfield powerhouse. He will have to nominate a *specific target. Both Khedira and Rooney will have 18 months *remaining on their *contracts when the January window opens.

I don't think Rooney to Arsenal will happen and its only a matter of time before RM ignite real intent to sign Suarez. I reckon theres realistic options at RM though, I dont want Benzema though.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Really enjoy the Premiership but think the standard has dipped, Spain, Germany and even France seem to be attracting the big stars now. Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal all struggled and failed to buy a striker, E'to really?
Some very poor sides in the EPL this season.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Sorry Henke but its unwise to make kneejerk assumptions based on 4 games and a international break.

Not at all Den, the transfer window has closed and the big stars went elsewhere. Premiership failed to attract anyone apart from maybe Ozil. Spain, Germany and even France retaining or signing the best players.
Hull, Cardiff, West Brom, Sunderland, Newcastle, Fulham, Stoke, Palace all crap some average sides out with that too.
