Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Just had a phone call cancelling my surgery for tomorrow morning. Great eh?!
That means the blood tests I had yesterday afternoon were a waste of time and will have to be repeated and we now have to change the arrangements we made for the period I was supposed to be away...
Having psyched myself up and not slept much last night I just wanted to get it over and done with and now this. Grrr....

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Sadly these cancellations are becoming more and more common Osem as l have heard of some having their operations cancelled 3 to 4 times and that's in our area and one suspects many other areas will be just as bad.

Yes I think you're right and of course the knock on effects will be considerable as other procedures, tests etc. have to be rescheduled, repeated or whatever. It must cost the NHS ££££'s.
Still there are people far worse off than me...

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
A cancellation got my mum her operation, sadly 11 weeks on and she's still a 2 hour+ journey away
We tried to get her closer to home as she is in a room on her own and next to no people see here, but the ball started to roll to get her transferred to pur local hospital when she had a infection that had loads of puss
So that move is on hold, but we are taking in food (she's not to keen on their food) that can be cooked in hospital as the nurse said "as long as it is something she can eat, bring it in"

Sounds awful. Commiserations on that and hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Stuck in hospital again with an infection - I really hope they've got marmite as I'm already grumpy as it looks like I'll me here all week,
On the plus side this pic line they've got in is great it was a pain getting it fitted but well worth it

Sorry to hear that you are in hospital again dilli as this must get you really down at times as l sure many of us would get down about it.
Try to keep your chin up and l will have a word with the nurses about the marmite if none is forthcoming for you.

Sorry to hear you have been captured yet again. Not a fun experience but at least you got your Marmite.
Hope you escape soon. <<hugs to you both>>
My moan is also about hospital. Won't go into details but my patience is being sorely tested.
