It is a testement to the safety introduced to the cars that he was able to walk away with what appear to be minimal injuries.

The name lives on as Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael, has signed to race for Haas next season.

Especially if one was brave enough to put some money on when it was 1000/1.

Re: F1 2020 Season Thread
So this should be interesting this weekend.
Going by what some people say about Lewis and it's the car not him, then George is on for a guaranteed win then?

Well in 2016 someone had Leicester winning the Premiership and Trump becoming US President, at IIRC 1000/1. They didn't stand a chance did they.
They walked away with around £750,000.

What an absolute blunder by Mercedes...
---------- Post added at 18:31 ---------- Previous post was at 18:22 ----------
Come on Russell, this is incredible. Or was until luck caught up with him along with Mercedes awful pit stop.
Oddly enough, anyone remember when Hamilton refused to come in during the safety car because his tyres were fine? Absolutely hammered his point home today.
