Liverpool improved far more than United this season there is no getting away from that, as much as there is no getting away from where the trophy temporarily is.

Couple of things , its hard to improve from winning the league so i guess we were just treading water by winning it again.
Temporarily? 11 out of 16 ( and 3 times on the spin TWICE , which is a FACT by the way ) would suggest . as Russ b pointed out , that its not so much there temporarily as taken root.
Walk on? dream on more like

Jagielka might be a big loss for Everton against the likes of Drogba and Anelka. Hopefully it will be a good game unlike cup finals in the last few years whch haven't been the greatest.

The voice of reason
Yes, its another BIG football game this weekend, one seemed to have been forgotten about. Good luck to Everton.
Shame about Jagielka, he's a class player

Re: Football : Season 08/09
It's the FA Cup so anything can happen, that's the magic of it. A few years ago Exeter drew 0-0 with United at Old Trafford, each year there's giant-killing going on. Don't forget Everton held their own over 90 minutes against a fairly good United side.
I would LOVE to see Roman's millions yet again fail to pick up another trophy so I'm also going for an Everton win.
That way we can avenge our semi-final defeat when the Charity Shield comes around

Another one for Everton, really hope they can pull it of, allthough i feel it will be extrememly tough to do so(Hiddinks` last game and all that) with players out and the differance in class in key positions.
Let`s hope for a better game than tuther night...!
Who do all the Liverpool fans wan`t to win? Your 2 biggest rivals winning both major domestic cups must be hard to contemplate

I think it depends tbh, I've got family loyalties and i HATE Chelsea with a passion - so its the toffees all the way for me. Besides, its a bloody good excuse to meet up with mates in Liverpool and have a good day out.
I'm made up for Everton, it'd be cool to meet them in the finals again - just like the old days
I've heard some nasty fans on forums who are backing Chelsea, God only knows why.
Chelsea **** are used to being runners-up anyway, why change it now?

I think Everton will have the better mental attitude coming into the came, as they're seen as the underdogs.
I'd like Everton to win, even though I support Liverpool. Moyes has done a fantastic job, and like someone else said, he deserves to have something to show for that. Everton haven't had to buy their way into this position, which is more than can be said for Chelsea.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Sorry to say Chelsea fans, l am a London football fan, and it is Everton for me, Cheslea for me have that attitude problem, that when nothing goes right, they turn to the rough stuff and diving and feigning injury ie Drogba.
Everton, want the FA cup more and l predict it will go to extra time with Everton winning 3-2 aet.

Yes there is at least one, but he seems to actually talk some sense, so you don't notice him amongst the din
