It looks as though Arsenal are to be bought out by a Russian....

David Dein, the former Arsenal vice-chairman, has sold his 14.5% stake in the club to a firm co-owned by a Russian billionaire.
The news of the involvement of Alisher Usmanov, who bought the stake for £75m, adds to pressure on the club's board to give in to a takeover.

Now, he has been appointed chairman of a company whose goal is to gain hold of a significant stake in the club's shareholding, with Dein having sold his 14.58% stake for £75million to the Red and White Holdings Ltd company.
Red and White is jointly owned by Russian businessman, Alisher Usmanov, and London-based investor, Farhad Moshiri, but has appointed Dein as its chairman. Dein will spearhead plans to increase its stake in Arsenal, although he insists there is "no current intention to make a takeover offer".

Tough group for us, the one team i didn't want is Roma. Ronaldo and Nani going back to thier old club as well.

dont know bout the group for Arsenal. Bucharest and Slavia are quite strong Sevilla or AEK are not easy either. but then saying that ManUre has got a lovely group and yes Chelsea and Liverpool are quite interesting as well.

really dont fancy putting bets on group A tho... besiktas (nasty crowd) Marseille (can be really good and dangerous) Porto (ouch again hard team to beat)

We don't. This year is the first for a while where we've not got at least one tough team. 03/04 was as hard as nails. 01/02 was pretty straightforward.

I'm sorry but all of those are much easier than the group United have this year. It's probably more of a case of Arsenal making it hard for themselves rather than the group actually being difficult.

Well, the first half at OT was a good as the quality of the picture on Sultana.

Good reception for Keano's return to Old Trafford, however the game is a bit of a dud so far.

Tevez and Anderson look out of their depth. Nani, not too bad.

Only plus signs at half time is Scholes and Evra.

How we need Ronaldo and Rooney back, or even for Saha to appear in the second half would do.

Overall 2/10 for the first half

Saha was definately what we needed, did very well for his first appearance in a long time
