Pardew is upset we bid for one of his players? Say no deal and leave it at that. Why bother leaking it to the press and getting upset about it? If receiving a bid for your players is so traumatic then change profession.
In reality we didnt upset either, it's just posturing. They've all been in football long enough to know how it works and if Arsenal offer an acceptable bid they will accept and if not they won't. These facts won't change no matter no long Pardew and Roders cry into their pillows at the unfairness of it all.

The clubs have jumped on it before the players/agents start mouthing off to the media. theres nothing wrong with that.

That is why I would never ever have lescott in my team,...he insists on passing to the opposition in front of his goal..idiot

I like navas' run, to chase the keeper, keep them on their toes

I like the humour from the BBc site
Nico Lennon: My main concern is that Tim Krul doesn't aggravate his shoulder injury by having to keep picking the ball out of his net.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Newcastle are closer to this crisis thing than Arsenal. Worst defence in the league, constantly having problems with players and not strengthening a team that was lucky to avoid the drop. It's trivial beating Newcastle. Run at the defence and pick out your unmarked players...defending like that in this league heh. Add the hilarious staff structure and the owner to that.

They should have hoofed Pardew out at the end of last season but then again Ashley is a idiot and one never knows what this fool will do next.

Re: Football Season 2013/14 & Summer Window
Even if it did he has no time to get players and this squad is as appalling as Pardews tactics. That back four have no discipline at all and Steven Taylor is a joke and a liability. He always was and always will be.
This gimmick contract in llambias words was meant to signal commitment and stability. Newcastle have taken 2 steps forward then 150 steps back. Feels as stable as Gazza after the weekend

I joked about it the other day but it's quickly becoming reality. Like I said Cabaye going for buttons would spark fans into scenes similar to the sacking of Kevin Keegan and would be the final straw for Mike Ashley in the fans eyes. The fact arguably the star player is missing tonight because of a bid is a joke. Mike Ashley may be a genius businessman but this is a football club and an entirely different venture. He might have played around with finances but he's done nothing for the club on the pitch

And l thought Arsenal were having problems but Newcastle are like a ship that is heading towards the iceberg at full speed with no captain on board.

yes.
But if you look at the team, they are doing stupid niggly things like the fouls. that is always a good indicator of an unhappy club.
And getting a few injuries, red cards, could cost newcastle early in the season. Once you start losing some ground...crisis starts
