United are not in debt until Glazer shifts his debt onto the books, unlike Arsenal who have been in debt for several years.

Being a United fan, I still found this quite amusing........................

Osama Bin Laden was found hiding in the Man Utd trophy cabinet. When he was asked why he decided to hide in there, he said it reminded him of a cave in Afghanastan, empty, cold, and taken over by Americans.

Re: The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
well we won both games but they weren't great.. not sure if Crouch is the way to go.. apart from winning headers he's not very good.. his touch on the deck is very poor and not really international quality

on another note.. not even did Phil Neville get another cap when he isn't even good enough for the premiership but he got to be England captain as well.. would have rather it went to Ashley Cole than Neville... he has no football brain.. always stands in the wrong place as he doesn't know what he is doingg.. is never tight enough on his man when marking and just pushes people in the back or slides in and gives the ball away.. his passing is terrible it's either a square pass to whoever is standing 5 yards to his left or right or a pass to the other team.. and that's from someone who supports the club he plays for

Cole to be the new Bosman?
Quote:
Ashley Cole is expected to be hit with a £250,00 0 fine later today for talking to Chelsea while under contract at Arsenal. But reports suggest that Cole will 'do a Bosman' and argue restraint of trade in the European courts. And then the s*** hits the fan...

Agreed, that stood out last night.
I suppose there could be a couple of, or three reason's for Beckham giving him the captain's armband.
1. He was the next most senior player on the pitch.
2. He is Beckham's mate.
3. He was the nearest at the time Beckham walked off.
I think Phil Neville would have problem's plying his trade in the conference, let alone Man Utd reserves.
There are a few player's fast approaching thirty years of age at Man U, I am sure some changes will be made in the very near future.

It would be nice to see Kenyon get a massive fine, it would make me smile if that git got hurt in the area in which he is most in love with - his wallet.
