Telewest blueyonder Wireless Setup

Hello everybody,

I've roped into helping out a family friend installing telewest blueyonder broadband wireless.

Not knowing the cable broadband setup, I purchased a Belkin 125g modem routes thinking that it's a normal adsl connection via the telephone socket.

I have directly connected the blueyonder connection successfully but am unable to config the wireless connection to use the telewest broadband settings.

Does anyone know the wireless setup to intergrate this??

Kind Regards
Dean

1) to the site.

2) That (ADSL) router won't work with a Telewest Cable Broadband connection I'm afraid.

Re: Telewest blueyonder Wireless Setup

You need to replace the Belkin with something like the Linksys WRT54G, link here:

Take a look at this site for Telewest info:

Re: Telewest blueyonder Wireless Setup

Thanks very much for the info. Let's hope the Pc World have a good return policy!

Im still slightly confised as to why the belkin won't work and the netgear will?

What type of connection settings are needed to configure the netgear to the blueyonder account?

Thanks
Dean
