D-Link DI-604 router

Normally I would need straight-through cables to connect a router to PC. However some routers can use auto-detect and it doesn't matter whether it's a crossover or straight-through.

Does anyone know if I can use a crossover cable with this router?

my friend has one and we have uses both patch and crosover cables with it without dificulty p.s the cable teaster is fantasxtic and can identify cable type speed and diagnose quite a few faults with the cables
