Re: Football Season 2014/15
Arsenal were never really in the hunt for Eto. He wouldn't have ended up at Everton if Arsenal were really interested. I don't mean to say that disrespectfully.

You must be worried about the lack of transfer activity at your club bud.

With an Arsenal move unlikely to happen. Dortmund should have taken him and developed him. I fear he'll end up somewhere he shouldn't be.

Odds for next Saints manager.
Please, please, please, not Bruce or McClaren!
Would settle for either of the top two though...

Yes l think any one of the top two would be good business for Southampton.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
It already risks being a toxic start to next season now. Arsenal better have some decent players lined up otherwise the place will be seething come August.

Spoke too soon as it seems #WengerOut is already trending on Twitter. Football fans are such utter children sometimes.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
I'm annoyed. Especially because of the fact that top quality depth has been the main reason why Arsenal have done soo poorly in recent years. It isn't just lifting trophies but winning against the elite sides. Depth is soo important. I'm not '#WengerOut' because there is still time for something to happen.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
People only have so much patience Damien. Look at Arsenal fans in January, were in line for a treble and only ended up with the FA Cup. Whilst it is a trophy, had they not crashed like they did Arsenal would most likely be champions now.
Most other Top 4 clubs sack managers when not winning trophies (Chelsea and Man City spring to mind), so for Arsenal to stick with Wenger has only increased expectations in my view.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Perhaps they did not want to match his wages that Chelsea were offering him.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Not possible. Arsenal didn't even bid. They declined when offered the clause of first refusal to buy-back. Fabregas confirmed this in his statement...

or may be it was possible...
Fabregas was earning more at Arsenal than he did at Barcelona so how obscene could it have been
