Netgear WGR614V9 Reset issue

I cant seem to resetthe router back to factory defaults. I press the button at the back and it acts as if its reset but when i go into the settings all my settings are still there like port forwarding, DNS Settings etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

Ok?

All it says it it sees a MAC address and gives it the IP 192.168.1.3. Then, Universal Plug n Play is activated from that IP.
Then, 192.168.1.3 logs into the router.

Re: Netgear WGR614V9 Reset issue

but why does it keep dropping the connection when the lease resets.

VM said that they have checked routers there and it gives them a choice of lease times yet mine doesnt.

---------- Post added at 18:13 ---------- Previous post was at 17:43 ----------

apparently this is a known issue on this modem
