usb sockets on sky+hd box
Does anyone know what the usb points on the new sky+hd box are for?

Some have power to them, so you could possibly plug a USB device into it.
By that I mean light, fan, charger but not HDD.

No they mean the STB may support an external HDD data transfer etc
