dl-524 help

I just recently got a d link dl-524 wireless roughter pc upstairs working well via ethernet but just a bit of tips setting the wireless via my laptop downstairs,ive heard different things about wep or wap looking at the properties it reads,

Name default
ssid default
network type access point
network avail all users

then on the security tab it says
security type no authentication open
encyption type none
any help would be great checked the website but its all double dutch.

looks like the access point is wide open for everyone to use...

you need to look at locking this down ASAP, especially if you are banking online etc.

to do this dlinks usually have some sort of set up wizard I belive? If not then you need look into setting up WPA security on the router...there should be some help files that will help you along with this.
