No luck here either, what route did you use through the phone system? I do have two upstream channels now, a good sign.

I wrote an e-mail today using the contact us page today to try and get a different response, so I will hear from them I'm sure tomorrow or the next day. I basically asked why some people are getting it but the whole area cannot get it. I agree with you MartinDee if the area can take it there really is no reason to delay the roll out. Lets see what they say.

If you get a response this year, I will be very surprised.
And I'm not even being sarcastic.

Re: Uddingston ML5 2 Upstream Channels
Tried a different DNS? Though OpenDNS are generally pretty solid. Are you getting any packet loss?

Re: Uddingston ML5 2 Upstream Channels
What upstream is 60Mb getting in the area just now?
I would get 60Mb but the impression I'm getting is that will only give 3Mb upload at best for now. If that is the case then I might need 100/120Mb just for the upload for the time being.
If BT would add my cabinet to their "government supported" roll-out then I would go with Sky Fibre but that seems not to be the case so far...

Re: Uddingston ML5 2 Upstream Channels
At the moment, 60 has 3mbit upload. I've not seen anyone on 60/6 yet but presumably it's on some sort of rollout.
30 is only on 2mbit but there are the odd people who are on 30/3, presumably as a holdover from before speed doubling (i.e. they're supposed to be on 60/3).
Areas still on 100meg (are there any left?) can have either 100/5 or 100/10 depending on how they got to 100meg. It's often possible to get CS to change you over to 100/10.
120 has 12.
