VM 20Mbit service .... having real probs here

VM 20Mbit service .... having real probs here

as titled im on 20mbit service but only seem to get 8 - 10 mbit

never noticed any change in speeds on my machine , but however my g/f gets close to 18 on her laptop wired and wireless


any ideas

Are you both in the same house, using the same connection? If so it might be your NIC needs upgrading, or has been set to 10MB mode.

yeah were both in the same house ive got a belkin gigabit pci lan ,
dlink di-624 router all set at 100 mbit
ive spoken to VM about this but they are saying that all looks good at their end , it just dont make sense
