I have recently got a laptop package which included a BT Voyager 2100 wireless router. Does anyone know a way of getting my NTL cable modem to work through this?

Re: NTL with BT voyager 2100
Plug it in and switch it on ...
If it's just a router, and not a combined ADSL modem/router, then it doesn't matter how it is provisioned, it should work. I assume it has an ethernet-in port on it?

Cableforum.
Sorry, but just had a look at the BT website, and it looks like the voyager 2100 is an ADSL only router. It's doubtful it will work with any cable modems. You need a non-adsl broadband router, such as the Linksys WRT54G
Thanks for your reply. It has 4 ethernet ports however I think it requires an ADSL connection. I have tried using it as just an ethernet "bridge" but it will not connect even though the comms lights are flashing like mad!!
