Virgin Cable input/output help

What would i need to input the virgin cable wire straight into a box/splitter to then output to multiple cable boxes.

I own a Labgear HDU681 and i cant get it to work with my virgin cable.

erm, why would you?

Wouldn't the VM tech do this when they came to install/change the multiple boxes?

I just bought and rebuilt a house i bought, took roof nd everything down extended and i layed down excellent quality cable to every bedroom in my house and two rooms downstairs and got it all going to a cuboard downstairs and had it all connected to a Labgear HDU681 but i cant get it to work well, so i was wondering if anyone knows if they know how i could get the HDU681 to work well or any other way i could do it.
