Agreed, if the theme of who/what/why re: the downloads is not developed rather than just being hinted at, it is going to get really tedious.
I had thoughts of this developing as a Fast Forward Clone but it is beginning to look as though it might fall well short of even that dubious distinction.
We can only hope it will improve. If not it will be a complete waste of an intriguing premise.
