Re: WWE (no spoilers for 24 hours)

Should clear up that he wasn't just randomly selected for release but was actually fired. He's facing allegations of rape and failed to notify WWE which led to him appearing backstage last night in preparation for his match with Goldust. WWE only finding out he was accused of rape during the show after being contacted by several media outlets. He put them in a pretty bad situation and was deservedly suspended and made to leave immediately before being sacked. WWE have been quick to stress he was dismissed for the failure to notify them rather than the allegations themselves.

I think it's likely WWE would have simply placed him on some form of suspension whilst the case unfolds and he notified them how he intended to plea should it get that far. Thus they could make a decision to keep him suspended until a court decision or release him if he intended to plead guilty.

As it stands he made a rats arse of it by just showing up and keeping it quiet.
