Question Virgin extension as Freeview extension?

In my old house I was a Sky subscriber for a while. This included an extension into a bedroom for a second TV. When I stopped using SKY and went to Freesat I was able to use this extension to pipe my Freesat signal to the bedroom as it was actually a simple coax cable. My Freesat box acted as a pass-thru signal booster.

Now I have moved to a house which was previously wired for Virgin including cabling for an extension into a bedroom. I don't want Virgin and prefer to use my TV's built in FreeView TV tuner which is supplied from a separate aerial connection.

My question is...can the Virgin extension cabling be used to feed a Freeview signal from my Freeview TV (which has pass-thru) to the bedroom? The virgin sockets clearly don't have the same connectors but I'm wondering if I could change these or buy adapters / converters?

Much thanks for any advice you can give.
