I don't think you can change it at the moment, you never used to be able to. That's not to say things might change when they roll-out the PS4.

On a slightly different note, I noticed that there was this constant focus on "real world friends" during the E3 presentation. I wonder if they will prevent random freaks from bombarding you with friend requests.
