Re: Early upgrade, in contract

Do you definitely have good Virgin/T-Mobile/Orange coverage in your area? If so and the SIM is in fact faulty then ring them and get a free replacement. In terms of cancelling early then it's your monthly fee multiplied by how much you have left so in your case £9.99 x 8 = £79.92. If you were to do an 'early upgrade' they might charge you less but I don't know what Virgin's policy is on this.
