Re: 'local only' via WGR614 wireless (Virgin Cable)

Whenever you change the device connected to your the cable modem, doesn't matter if it's swapping ethernet devices on if it's swapping from ethernet to USB(or vice versa) you need to power cycle you modem between equpment swaps.

1. Remove device from cable modem

2. Switch of cable modem for 30 seconds

3. Switch on cable modem and wait for lights to stabilise.

4. Connect and switch on the new piece of equipment.

Forget connecting by wireless for a while, save that for after you've got a stable wired connection.
