US College Sport no longer on UK television

For the first time in many years, American College sport is not being shown anywhere on British TV, apart from Notre Dame's seven home football matches on Sky Sports. This came about when TNT Sports replaced BT Sport and this was the only set of rights that it had acquired as part of the parent company purchase of BT Sport and its assets, but decided not to show, with no explanation given for deciding not to continue to broadcast the NCAA.

I, for one, am missing the coverage as I used to enjoy following the College Football season on BT Sport. Am I alone in missing NCAA coverage or are others missing it as well?

They dropped everything that they were getting from ESPN. All NCAA stuff and ESPNFC included.

Yes but not showing ESPN programming doesn't mean you have to stop showing the NCAA. After all, they will take ESPN coverage of MLB and the NBA, just as Sky did when it broadcast the NBA..

Of course, this discussion topic is no longer relevant as Sky Sports have picked up NCAA coverage, showing three football matches a week plus the excellent College Gaeday preview programme. Sky will also show the Bowl season games and presumably the national Championship final in early January.

The deal also gives Sky more basketball coverage with Sky to show three College Basketball games a week plus the end of season March Madness tournament.
