ASUS zenwifi AX or Rt-ax92u

Anyone have experience of either/both of these

It’s to install for a family member they don’t want the ubiquiti kit

I've only got the RT-AX88U, if that's any help.

How do you find the performance/coverage

I'm looking at one of the two solutions i proposed as it's a large house (5 bedrooms) and they also need Ethernet at one of the locations (can't run cabling)

I don't use the AIMesh but the coverage is very good from this router, especially compared to the likes of the Superhub.

A colleague of mine was looking to get some mesh stuff in as he wasn't getting coverage in his office and powerlines weren't cutting it, so he started by picking up the RT-AX88U and it turns out he didn't need mesh at all, it was good enough to give him the coverage he needed.

Obviously YMMV but by and large they're decent.
