Re: RIP Sir Roger Moore
Will always be "The Saint" to my generation but I also enjoyed him in The Persuaders and James Bond.
RIP Sir Roger  |
Re: RIP Sir Roger Moore
He was my first TV crush. Used to hurry home from school to see him on Ivanhoe. Had his pictures all over the bedroom wall. 50 odd years later I can still remember the Ivanhoe theme tune.

Re: RIP Sir Roger Moore
Seemed to me to always act (professionally) and behave like the perfect English gentleman.
He featured in a fairly recent episode of Car SOS where he signed a seat back in a Volvo P1800 secretly restored for a classic car enthusiast who'd suffered a stroke. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ding-back.html Suave until the end. RIP Simon Templar. |
Re: RIP Sir Roger Moore
Very suave as the Saint. Very much a tongue-in-cheek as Bond though entertaining. RIP

Re: RIP Sir Roger Moore
Sir Roger was hilarious in Brian Pern, a Life in Rock. Probably one of the last things he did and it really showcased exactly what a great sense of humour he had.
