1.5 million customers face price rises, with around 200,00 users facing hikes of up to £39 per year

Virgin Media is set to hit customers with price rises of up to 1.6 per cent at the beginning of July.

I got a letter 3 weeks ago saying mine is going up £3 a month. Which is quite a lot for a Sim only contract.

That must be the unlimited data deal is it?
I rang up recently and was offered their £8pm deal for £7pm as a loyal customer which I accepted. This gives 1Gb data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts which is reasonable.

Well, they have to recoup the losses they make due to the end of roaming charges in the EU....

Did anyone think they wouldn't? Even for those who never leave the UK?

i was on the vip sim only everything unlimited last bill i paid for it was £19feb/mar as i am useing my phone less and less called them up and went through the last couple of bill already got idea what i wanted so in we cut it down to £7 momth £1 discount inc with 1250min 500 internett unlimited tex done all for april then they send a price increase out for £3 not happy was a understatement so its gone up to £10 from july....

That's ridiculous as the £8pm on their website gives you 1Gb, 1,000 minutes, unlimited texts. I would phone up and ask for this deal less the £1pm discount.

when i done mine was about 2/3 weeks later they change all there prices to what they are now but at min this suites my needs at present time..
