I'm in a similar boat. I had a lazy left eye when i was younger that was never corrected so when i close my right eye i cannot read at all with my left.

I thought for years i couldn't see 3d. When i seen films at the cinema in 3d it always looked normal to me.

Got a new Panasonic 3d tv about 4 months ago and i downloaded a couple of 3d demos and i could actually see 3d. Got a fright the first time i seen it. :)

I'm the same as I am partially sighted and my right eye only has 10% vision and left is 60% and I thought 3D wouldn't work for me but it does. Well the pop out stuff does when stuff is flying at you but the depth stuff doesn't as I don't notice any difference

EA launches Xbox One subscription gaming service for $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year.

This is currently only a trial for some users, however this will enable them to play a range of games for very little money.

EA says it will eventually be rolled out to all Xbox One owners.

If the range of games are good then it maybe a no brainer getting it.

£3.99 per month or £19.99 per year

Pretty good idea - hope others follow suit!

20 for a year... I'll definitely give that a go. Unlimited access to older games, discounts on digital downloads, early access to new games...

I got an invite as I'm a preview program tester. Am I right in thinking once you purchase a game, you can keep it even if you decide to cancel the subscription?

If you purchase a game (with the 10% discount) you can keep it after you cancel your subscription. You will however lose access to the vault games that you haven't purchased.

I've signed up for 1 month to try it out at the moment and see what else gets added as I already own Fifa and Peggle 2 on digital and used to own (and sold on) Battlefield physical.

19.99 a year for EA Access seemed a no brainer so I went for it, I just hope it puts out some games that I really want to play though, but it is worth the risk I think.

I bought an xbo one + kinect yesterday but lol kinect voice commands are frustrating, trying to remember what to say and then getting the xbox to understand me....

I've connected my tivo up and it seems to be working ok and the oneguide itself looks really interesting but it seems to be lacking loads of channels for the voice commands. Is there a step I missing maybe?

Getting it to understand you is one thing! but

'xbox select' will let you see what commands you can give on any particular screen and you will get used to it!

Mine has started to not understand me again after playing nice for so long. Think I will have to recalibrate tomorrow :( (again!)

Microsoft to release Xbox One USB Powered TV Tuner to the UK, France, Italy Germany and Spain in October: http://www.totalxbox.com/80169/xbox-...le-in-october/ . I don't understand though, is this as well as plugging an STB into the HDMI Pass Thru port on the one or is this kit in addition?

That is for people who only have freeview so they can access it on the one.
