Eiter that or the normal over-utilisation.

Mine for the last 24 hours - dropping the connection 3 or 4 times a day.

When I set it up I noticed that one was still running on an old IP on the legacy network - looks a bit better apart from whoever has that IP now is still suffering the VM signiture packet loss!

Outstanding result, by the way. Looks like a combination of light internet usage and better than average uBR.

Suspect? Possibly, a member since 2008 and doesn't know how to do it?

Can't say either way!

(only had 25 posts though)

Lol you guys, completely legit. Will post a speedtest later with my 50mb if you like.
I have to add while that was going on I downloaded a movie and surfed. 2 laptops used the net all evening.

Incredible results Sinth. It's probably the best graph I've seen of a VM service. Jealous.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

Thanks mate, only had it installed last Saturday hence my return to cable forums. Been a while.

This is with firewall and flooding disabled. I live 30metres from my street box. Due to everything coming through the one cable it can`t be that I am the only person on 50mb. Just lucky I suppose.
Pre 50mb my power levels to the house were about +6. Haven`t a clue now how that relates to this connection but await a post from me saying damn internet is sluggigh lol

What kind of concerns me is that Cambridge has supposedly had the upload speed enabled but not for me.

Edit: weird how my graph seems to "live" in the thread, keeps moving.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

I think seph's is still overall best I have seen as sinth's has some packetloss. But sinth's is certianly very good for VM's standards.

Either

1 - latency/jitter is affected even at low utilisation levels eg. 30%.
2 - or VM have ports running much more hot than make believe as it seems graph's like sinth's are the minority not the majority.
