Virgin tv STB's
Hi all,
A quick question, apologies if it has already been answered a gazillion times already :). We currently have a Tivo box and a second box (I think we pay £6.50 a month for this) and this is a VHD box. I think the standard Virgin box is now a Tivo box, is that correct? If so, can I get my VHD box swapped for free with a Tivo box? Thanks Nirav |
Re: Virgin tv STB's
No, you would have to pay £5 per month more to swap a non-recording box for a recording box.
Of course, go through Retentions, accept a new 12 month minimum contract term and you may actually save money, rather than pay more. |

Re: Virgin tv STB's
If you are on a legacy package, a straight swap VHD for TiVO will cost another £5 a month on top of what you pay now. If you upgrade to one of the new packages then the additional TiVO charge is £7.50 per box.

Re: Virgin tv STB's
So if you are new Virgin Media TV customer the only boxes now available are Tivo or V6 depending what bundle you are on?
I suppose legacy package customers could include V+, SD or HD non record boxes that unless you change your package will be replaced by like for like? |
