Cannot access email
I know on the status page it says some people are experiencing delays in getting email but my problem seems a little different.
I have 7 email accounts and as of this morning I cannot access any of them. For information I am ntlworld if this makes a difference. Have even tried web mail and after putting in user name and password it just cycles back to the same page asking for details. Is anybody else experiencing similar problmes? |

I can't access ntlworld email via outlook either - keeps asking for my password which it has and hasn't changed for 10 years so maybe an authentication server problem?

Yes, it's driving me up the walls!!
So much so that I have phoned the Fingster and left one of my "Al Qaeda special" messages on her voicemail. No doubt the security services will have picked it up and will be along sh |

It's happening here too - a pop up appears asking for username and password, but won't accept them when I enter them. I assume it's a problem with the server.... :-/

I have half a dozen email accounts and use Thunderbird.
Only one of them is having a password problem. Luckily it's a spare one. |

This is a national fault and the reference for this fault is 1212163.
Due to the amount of customers affected by the fault it has been given a very high priority. |

I did go to the VM site to double check the password but the manage your emails part is getting a 'makeover' !?

I understand the problem to be that their server has gone down but it's heading for 4 hours now and beginning to be annoying ..

Just got off the phone with Virgin Media and the lady from CSC sed that all email accounts are off line, it was only ntlworld.com accounts be for but my account is ntlworld.com so I am annoyed to say the least. I can not get ADSL on my line withe it having a permanent fault on the line or I would be off to a new ISP. http://community.plus.net/forum/Smileys/plusnet/sad.gif

Appears may be back online as just managed to get my mail on all accounts.
