Connecting isolator
1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
Just looking to double-check with someone more experienced. I had to move all the broadband cables etc by about 3 metres in the room. Disconnected everything and moved it but now I'm not sure how to connect this thing in the photo. As you can see in the attached picture, this is the TRIS isolator which normally sits in the white virgin box on the wall. The question is - is 'IN' the side where I should connect the broadband coming from outside the property? And is 'OUT' where the cable to the router should go? Or is it the other way around? The connection you can see is not live at the moment - I just used dummy cables for the picture. Thanks in advance for your help. https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2017/06/20.jpg |
