if it's a snap election it could be problematic as vast numbers of people have shown they have no idea how democracy works ,i look forward to the streets being covered in bits of old cardboard with the usual rubbish scrawled on them in felt tip pen ;)

The thing is how can she call an early election without knowing for sure Parliament would approve? Maybe she'll resign if they turn it down....

Kind of weird that she says it's because of division over Brexit. Labour are backing it so it's only the SNP and Lib Dems against.
