Is this true?

Just rang VM and rep said the Nokia E63 I was interested in would be unlocked on payasugo! In fact he said that all their payasugo phones are unlocked.

I am concerned that sometimes these reps just say anything to get the order.

Can anyone verify this?

Thanks

Doubt it although some T-Mobile locked phones work with Virgin and vice versa. I've never known a network to sell unlocked phones.

Most (not all) PAYG phones sold from Carphone Warehouse are unlocked.
This means they don't have to carry as much stock.

The contract phone that I have through Vodafone is unlocked. Don't know about PAYG though?

I got an N73 on Virgin PAYG a couple of years ago that wasn't locked (completely unbranded too)
