lottoland warning

Some may remember I recommended this site a while back because it allows you to play overseas lotteries which have much superior odds.

Have since discovered you dont enter the lottery directly, instead they run some kind of insurance scheme using the results of these lotteries to pay out when numbers match. Still seemed ok.

However having noticed I never been paid any winnings I decided to look into the data provided on their website and I seen I won a small prize 3 different occasions but the winnings is always in "pending" status, the "pending" status also shows on all losing tickets as well.

I sent them a email asking how to get my winnings and simply got a reply telling me how to cancel my subscriptions.

I cannot ring them until tomorrow but it does seem they are at least a bit dodgy withholding winnings for what is at the moment a unknown reason, my ID/age has been verified with them so its not a eligibility issue.

I did also notice the smarkets betting site adds a barrier to withdrawing as well, they will let you deposit and place bets, the age verification simply you telling them your age, but if you want to make a withdrawal it then needs a photo age verification check e.g. a passport. It seems tho the government is planning to address this issue with betting sites where they add barriers to people withdrawing, this is to address both the checks put in place and the one sided promotional offers that require you to keep betting many times to be able to withdraw winnings.

So they are basically a scam.

How did you know if you won? Did they tell you. I've used them before but just expected an email if I won

Is ok, I had a conversation on the phone, and my winnings got paid out but the website I think isnt very clear.

So I checked my transactions history and the wins did get paid into my balance, and then was used to pay for future games so temporarily after each of the 3 wins I had reduced payments from my card.

However I think I am still going to cancel my subscription to this site as the amount of wins has been underwhelming given the on paper improved odds.

Jb66 I get an email after every game but the email always says just to check on the website for the results. The only way I could clearly see my winnings was to goto the screen where it shows historical entries and when you win is a star in the box.

But after the phone call I realised you can also see winnings in the transaction history section.

How did you ever expect to be able to win more?

Sites like this exist through pure greed of the people that use them and that includes you!

You expected something better for less, it never happens.

If you are going to gamble expect to lose as that is what always happens, you'll never see a poor bookie but plenty of poor punters!

I know what you saying pip, but a poor chance of winning is better than no chance of winning big.

End of day I betted responsibility only with money I can afford to lose which is fine.

The odds on paper are better then the uk lottery.
