Well we all know the BBC like to resurrect their old shows and with the charts now being released on a Friday they obviously see it as a good opportunity to bring it back but whether it proves popular again remains to be seen.

I would have thought re-animating corpses was more descriptive.:erm:

Personally l loved it but whether it can be a success again remains to be seen as times have changed a awful lot in the intervening years since it was took off the air..

Times have changed too much, and it'll always have the ghost of molesting DJ's associated with it, best to keep it buried I'd say.

I liked it myself back in the 70's when I was a kid, but the Worlds moved on so much it's not really pertinent anymore.

Well let's hope this time they actually do check ages of the audience.:erm:

Why? teeny pop bands etc, shown/filmed pre watershed, I don't see why a music show should be over 18's ?

Better to make sure the *performers/crew* behave themselves I'd say.

My way will make sure they do.

And staying at home is the best way to avoid a road accident.

Problems should be dealt with, not hidden from. That's how life goes on.

But Saville et al have totally poisoned the debate, it seems.

Would watch with Fearne Cotton doing it, but not with Dermot O Dreary as a co host.

LOL I just remembered Jimmy Saville's dead.

I was gonna say I wonder if they'll ask him back.

What a travesty. Is there no one with any imagination left at the Beeb?

Hopefully it will be re-buried in the media cemetary known as BBC3.

I wonder which arcane method of measuring the top 40 or whatever they will base this upon.

There could conceivably be a situation where the same barely literate rapper has 15 songs in the charts.
