Get out of the right hand lane!

It's becoming serious epidemic now. everyone is deliberately driving in the right hand lane when the left hand lane is where they should be. I'm constantly having to overtake them all and pull in front and take the lead. it's ridiculous. what are they doing it for? what is the message/point they're trying to make?

they just look at me funny when I'm going past them in the left shouting and screaming at them!

Sitting in the right hand lane and not moving as far left as possible is now illegal.

But undertaking is discouraged by the Highway Code, and could get you done for dangerous, reckless or careless driving if plod thinks it was.

Discouraged or not, you dont really have much choice when the muppet in front is going slow.

Everytime I go on the motorway, and stick to the left (as you should) I'm often actually untertaking cars to the right of me.

That maybe so, but unless someone actually enforces it, then its pointless as a law.

Rule 268

Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake. In congested conditions, where adjacent lanes of traffic are moving at similar speeds, traffic in left-hand lanes may sometimes be moving faster than traffic to the right. In these conditions you may keep up with the traffic in your lane even if this means passing traffic in the lane to your right. Do not weave in and out of lanes to overtake.

This is on normal roads. dual carriageways and such.
you'll find a car just plodding along in the right when they should be in the left.
you'll find a car in the right at traffic lights and pull off holding up the traffic. they're doing it on purpose. there's a facebook page somewhere where this craze has originated from. and I'm going to find out where!

hasn't nobody else seen this going on?

I just undertake without a thought now.

I plan ahead how to get the "jump" on them through roundabouts or at the traffic light grand prix. :D
